About

Bri is a former third-grade teacher with her Master's Degree in elementary education. After her second child was born, she swapped grading papers for diaper duty and spent countless hours reading humorous picture books to her children. All that reading sparked her love for creating laugh-out-loud picture books of her own that she hopes will inspire a lifelong love of reading in children.

She is represented by Jen Newens of Martin Literary Management. Her debut picture book, TRICERACHOPS, is slated for publication in fall 2028. Her poetry has appeared in The Dirigible Balloon, The Toy, and Little Thoughts Press. She serves as a critique coach for Rosie J. Pova’s Picture Book Author Academy and co-runs Peak Team Critiques. She also co-hosts the KidLit Chuckle Challenge and Take Your Kid to Work Day events and is the founder of Reviews for Reviews, an initiative designed to help authors increase visibility.
